Rail/Truck Product Transfer Series
Target: ZERO HARM
Safe and Smart Fluid and Gas Transfer Products
HT3TL DCV LASSO dry disconnect couplings have been used to connect hoses and loading arms to rail cars and truck tankers, as well as for in plant transfers. HILTAP offers a patented connection and volatile emission sensing dry disconnect. As end users re-engineer their loading and unloading stations, environmental compliance, high flow rates, and increased safety and system integration have become the new minimum requirement.
- Rugged easy to use articulating handles
- Quick engagement - 1/3 turn
- Ultra high flow (@98% of true full port)
- Virtually no drop in pressure
- Upgradeable to automatic fail close
- Primary metal to metal seals with tertiary “O” ring for more product containment even during a fire situation
- Can be serviced in-situ; no need to remove the transfer arm or hose from the connector
- Allows SMART connections; the connection registers as a distinct operator initiated connection event with your DCS or PLC

The HT-3TL DCV is available in a wide variety of materials of
construction. HILTAP uses commercially available "O" rings to
dramatically reduce maintenance costs.
For over a decade, HILTAP's HT3TL full port series couplings have been available for 3/4" to 6" (nominal pipe/tube sizes) in virtually any material of
construction. The TL, or Transfer Loading couplings are designed to
replace ANSI 150/300 series flanges, 3000# hammer unions and the most
current style of cam and groove couplings.
Years of extensive on the rack experience and continuous improvements with direct input from innovative operators keep the TL series a favorite with safety and environmentally conscientious companies.
Innovative, Safe Locking Quick Connect

The award winning, Locking Quick Connect (LQC), is specifically designed to replace conventional cam locking quick couplings that were never made for the elevated pressures and temperature transfers found on rail and truck loading and offloading racks or in plant requirements. The LQC works like a radiator cap; it simply locks fluid or gas tight. Should an operator be attempting to disconnect a hose or a pipeline terminus closure, under line or residual pressure, the LQC uses the enegy in the hose or pipe to passively lock the coupling or closure, preventing a potentially catastrophic separation. To put it simply it’s the safest, quickest connect innovation on the market.*
*The LQC was selected by European Chemical News in late 2005 as the DOW Corning Innovation Award Winner. The LQC was a finalist with Flow Controls Magazine Innovations selection commitee in 2006.
