RefiningThe HT-490/425/415 series connector replaces high pressure ANSI flanges and has axial loading leak containment under thermal cycling conditions. Applications include quick flanging to pumps, meters filters, pipe and process lines, reducing expensive down time. The HT-415 series are used on hydrocarbon processing reactors to quickly contain leaks through thermowell pipes and helps keep reactors operating until a scheduled shut down. Non re-enforced reactor operators may use existing thermowell openings, or retrofit a new opening and allow rapid thermo couple insertion, again with the goal to reduce turn around times. HILTAP has been supplying high specification quick flanges to contain hydrogen leaks for nearly a decade. The HT-490/425/415 series allows operators of non re-enforced penetrations to seal leaks quickly without the likelihood of a premature shut down. During the shutdown sealing components are welded to the outer thermowell pipe which allows rapid insertion of thermometry equipment.
The HT-3TL series couplings have been used in liquefied petroleum gas transfer and many other related processing chemicals. The HT-3LB series couplings have been used in additive and lubricant for in-plant transfer, while allowing safe pigging through the connectors.
